Worked from written instructions that provide detailed methods and sequence of assembly operations using a bill of materials, diagrams and assembly drawings. Interface with Engineering and Quality Assurance regarding assembly requirements, workmanship standards and customer product specifications. Conduct final assembly and functionality test. Align, fit, and assemble mechanical /electrical component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes. Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation. Inspect mechanical and electrical parts and hardware in assemblies, using microscopes and other tools. Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
