I am César Lau, an economist with over 25 years of experience in the educational sector, specializing in quality evaluation and management in higher education. Currently, I serve as the Director of the Academic Division at Casio Latin America. In this role, I formulate and execute strategies to expand our network of strategic allies, provide support to educational institutions in leveraging Casio technology, and collaborate with governments on national projects.My mission is centered around promoting innovation and educational development in the region. I achieve this by harnessing technological tools that facilitate the learning and teaching of mathematics and science. As a dedicated professional, I am honored to be a member of the Latin American Committee for Educational Mathematics (CLAME), representing Peru in the Inter-American Committee on Mathematics Education (CIAEM), and contributing to the Quality Committee of the Graduate Unit at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru.Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated leadership, effective team management, strategic thinking, and a high capacity for problem-solving. I have played pivotal roles in various national and international educational projects, also providing guidance to education specialists in the development of manuals, books, and teacher training courses.My accomplishments extend to successful negotiations for sponsorships and participation in international educational events, benefiting all stakeholders involved, providing strategic and technical support to Casio distributors in the countries of Latin Americato foster sustainable business growth, benefiting their countries. Looking ahead, my goal is to continue contributing to the enhancement of educational quality in Latin America. I remain committed to generating proposals and implementing solutions that address the evolving needs and challenges of the current educational landscape.
