Primary Responsibilities: • Part of the global NTT transitions and data center migration team. As part of this team I work in two major areas: Operational Transitions (OT) and Data Center Migrations (DCM). OT is doing the appropriate documentation, device reconfiguration and handover to operations team while a DCM is to design the network of the new datacenter, doing the procurement and configuration the devices per the proposed architecture, plan the actual migration, support the rest of the teams during the migration and doing the handover of the new data center to the operations team. Members of this group can be assigned to perform network project if there is the need.Knowledge:Cisco routing & switching, SDWAN, Solarwinds monitoring syste, basic experience working with ASA and Load balancers and voice devices.Accomplishments:• Cisco Viptela SDWAN implementation project for 67 sites, hardware refresh project for 64 devices on several sites, VPN migration from IPaper to GPI for 26 sites, transition of 355 devices from International paper to GPI domain under NTT administration.• Successful transition and Data Center Migration for Russel investments and Jabil.• Successful network devices transition for Hilton investments.• Project to add voice hardware and services to support unified communications in 308 branches for Nacional Monte de Piedad.• Assurance of PCI policies by patching IOS on Hilton network devices, to pass (successfully) the 2016 and 2017 PCI audits.• Firewall rules implementation and troubleshoot for Corelogic Data Center Migration.

Network support in Data Center Migration move packages and transitions:Upgrading IOS to PCI network devices with the latest security patches.Configuring and troubleshooting firewall rules into ASA devices, according with app documents requested by the customer.Device configuration for branches (routers and switches) to support unified communications.Support with trouble tickets related to UC issues on the branches.Network devices transition, setting devices in order to transition from a customer’s third party to Dell’s administration.Get information from devices by SNMP/Entuity. Elaboration of technical proposals. Request quotes to vendors for CPE equipment (routers, multiplexors, PBX, etc) according to the recommendations given to costumer. Perform site surveys.Analyst Engineer (validation & test) Analysis and fail detection in REM system (Unix) on FWA, RSS and RBS, as well in switch DMS100.
