Directional Drilling Engineer - Member of the Halliburton Team (Sperry Drilling Services). Responsible for handling Directional wells in Venezuela oil fields, Cerro Negro, Junín, Bare, San Tome, Morichal, Norte de Monagas. Drilling engineering support to Halliburton and its clients.Duties Ensure a safe working environment where all members of the team understand theirresponsibilities to remain safe and be aware of their co-workers safety. Carry out safety audits and regular safety meetings to build a safety ‘culture’. Ensure the improvement and the motivation of the subordinate in order that theyaccomplish their job objectives promoting the TEAM WORK spirit. Direct and control environmental compliance with the customer’s contractual policies. Prepare well recaps & programs to meet & satisfy the customer needs. Prepare or assist the Project Manager in various studies and technical projects to improvethe company performance. Build up a strong solid and valuable relationship with the Customer at all levels.

Responsible for handling mud in Colombian oil fields, Castilla, Chichimene (Ecopetrol), San Vicente del Caguan (Emerald), Colon (Petronorte), Jilguero (Cepcolsa), Rio Verde (Harken de Colombia).  Ensure a safe working environment where all members of the team understand theirresponsibilities to remain safe and be aware of their co-workers safety. Carry out safety audits and regular safety meetings to build a safety ‘culture’. Ensure the improvement and the motivation of the subordinate in order that theyaccomplish their job objectives promoting the TEAM WORK spirit. Direct and control environmental compliance with the customers contractual policies Direct and control the Companies mud activities in accordance with the CompanyPolicies and Procedures. Build up a strong solid and valuable relationship with the Customer at all levels. Direct the workmates on all day-to-day responsibilities and working practices. Daily toolbox talks instructing on job function, methods and practices. Ownership of all logistic / material needs. Close communication with the logisticsupervisor. Liaise closely with the logistic supervisor in regards to keeping a regular and proper crewchange scheduling. Responsibility for inventory control of chemicals, and equipment. Responsible for the quality and content of daily reports, interval reports, section reportsand all other written matter. Prepare well recaps & programs to meet & satisfy the customer needs. Prepare or assist the Project Manager in various studies and technical projects to improvethe company performance.

Supervisor Engineer in Solids Control on Rigs onshore in Colombia, in charge of managing personnel of third party companies, overseen and coordinate solids control operations when using WBM. Overseen operations of Cuttings handling and transportation. Coordinate journeys for the truck used for transporting water treated and cuttings for the final disposal. Control and keep up to date chemical, equipment and spare parts inventory. Set up crew changes. Ensure all equipment was operating according to the technical specifications and contract. Participate on the daily operational meetings with the customer and discuss the upcoming operations. Prepare daily reports, Recaps, KPI, JSA, WP, efficiency reports.
