Executed linehaul day to day operations, analyzing mainline and satellite operations to minimize linehaul costs. Direct linehaul schedules and plans in an effort to maximize capacity, minimize partial trailer loads and ensure service integrity for assigned areas. Oversaw the linehaul supervisors and departments to activities including developing and executing linehaul plans, calling and assigning drivers, overseeing arriving, and departing drivers and supporting personnel engaged in hosteling activities. Carried out trainings to maximize effective utilization of resources and to ensure customer satisfaction on day-to-day operations.

Manage 8 DOT drivers, 25 commercial fleet trucks and trailers. I am charge of making sure all CDL drivers comply with DOT regulations, annual reviews, dot physicals, drug testing, monthly safety trainings, new hires, and quarterly reviews. I also make sure all commercial and fleet trucks are DOT compliance with proper registration, inspections, insurance, maintenance by using scrap runner fleet manager. I am also in charge of keeping an inventory report of all parts, tires, tools, and equipment being used. My other duties include arranging all transportation and logistical needs for company by developing a strong carrier base of assed based and non assed based carriers. This also includes over the road, drayage, ocean containers, end dumps, flat beds, over size loads. My other duties also include managing the daily dispatch of our scrap metal with our local suppliers, sending schedules to drivers using our scrap runner app. Other duties also include supervising our onsite scrap yard scale for our peddlers and commercial customers, verifying the type of metal being brought in, providing a value and paying out the customer.
