I am currently working on the project to expand the international sales of one of the largest shoe manufacturer in Brazil. Calcados Bottero is a private owned company born in 1985 producing just about 20,000 pairs of ladies leather shoes daily!We work in two roads selling our range to retailers and distributors around the world as well as building private label collections to special customers!

The World And Spain

After closing my own company in China, I decided to step away from the industry to spend time with family and friends.Traveled and "lived" in various places for several weeks/months: Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia.After 11 months of travel, we decided to live in Valencia, Spain, where my activities included studying new markets and technologies, playing high-performance tennis, and managing our family's assets.During this period, I improved my Spanish from basic to fluent and learned about currency exchange, financial markets, futures operations, etc.

Owner of an export company in China with a branch in Brazil (1 year) of medium size, producing 300,000 pairs annually.Leadership in developing collections for sale to medium/large retailers as well as product development for American brands.Negotiation with clients and factories for over 200 SKUs annually for orders between 400 pairs to 10,000 pairs per model.Assistance with the technical part for model approvals as well as production.Management of own sample workshop.Sales and research trips to over 10 countries as well as exhibiting at fairs in Italy and the United States.Team size: 30 people.

Minority partner in a medium-sized export company in China, producing about 1 million pairs annually.Responsible for the commercial sectors, sample and collection development.Negotiation with clients and manufacturers for over 400 SKUs annually for orders between 400 pairs and 20,000 pairs per style.Assistance with the technical part for approvals with clients regarding changes to already negotiated models.Co-management with our workshop manager of our own sample workshop.Sales and research trips to over 10 countries, as well as exhibiting at fairs in Italy and the United States.Team size: 110 people, direct management of 50/60 people.
