I work in food manufacturing with a team on a production line with expectations of meeting certain productivity demanded by the clients for which the company works to provide quality products to. It can be fast paced and detailed oriented as mass production is usually expected on day to day basis as well as little to no imperfections on deliverance and presentation of each product.

Assist students with physics questions through hour meetings 1 or 2 days per week. Improve student comprehension with concepts and understanding of difficult topics.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of participating at NVC as a math tutor in the math success center starting from 2018 fall semester. I have assisted tutoring NVC students up through Differential Equations and statistics. I help them understand concepts from various different math courses. I have greatly enjoyed using my own knowledge of mathematics and sharing it with others who struggle to grasp some of the mathematical concepts that I have already mastered. Through this I believe I have helped enhance the learning community at NVC including myself. I have had the opportunity to re-enforce my understanding of the math concepts that I have learned from the past. Having experienced my own struggles I place myself in the shoes of my tutees comprehending their difficulties and transmitting a solution for them to better understand while also serving myself in better understanding material that I once had more struggle in. Seeing my efforts pay off in helping them understand is something I consider a personal achievement every time. I strive to help all my tutees as best as I possibly can. Show less

I was in charge of greeting, informing and directing guests by the thousands per day to the different tasting options available. In my position I washed glasses throughout the day to keep an ongoing flow of clean glasses for my colleagues who were in charge of hosting tastings. On occasions I would assist in other duties such as host tastings myself, or ring up clients on the register.

I got a stipend to do community organizing through TIGRA, transnational institute for grassroots research and action, where I planned and held events at different locations throughout the southern bay area informing people on a then new program called DACA which stands for deferred action for childhood arrivals which benefits immigrant children of undocumented parents that were brought here at a young age. Calpirg is an environmental energy conscious organization where I volunteered within a chapter at DeAnza College. They believe a 100 percent clean energy future means shifting from dirty energy to completely clean energy sources wherever and however we can.
