As a dedicated higher education professional with a passion for student success, I bring 5+ years of experience in academic advising, career counseling, and program development. My work focuses on empowering students from diverse backgrounds, particularly first-generation, low-income, queer, disabled, and historically marginalized communities. Trauma-informed care and healing-centered engagement are central to my practice. Through a culturally responsive and holistic approach, I strive to foster equity and opportunity in education.I hold an Ed.M. in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship from Harvard Graduate School of Education, with a concentration in Higher Education, and a B.A. in Sociology and Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley. My career journey includes leadership roles in career development, supportive services, and student engagement at institutions such as Skyline College, UC Berkeley, Harvard University, and JobTrain, Inc. Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about mentoring students, promoting inclusive practices, and fostering communities of belonging.
