About César García Guerra

Born in Madrid, Spain, 1973. During his studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, César was invited to Argentina as guest professor at the UNSJ. After that, he studied for one year at the IUAV of Venice to return to Madrid to graduate with honors as an architect in 1998. There he worked for the Cano Lasso architects before moving to Amsterdam in 1999. In the Netherlands, he worked as architect for De Architekten Cie and freelanced at Urhahn Urban Design as urban planner.In 2002 he founded his own office FÜNDC in Rotterdam along with Paz Martin. At the same time he taught at the TU Delft. FÜNDC has built projects in several European countries and China. FÜNDC moved to Madrid in 2008. César has taught Architectural Design at the UEM (European University of Madrid) 2009-2013.Currently, and besides his Architect work at fündc, César has started an Audiovisual for Architecture initiative called Arkinotecture, and collaborates with Paz Martin on 'envejezANDO' (gettin' OLD), an Architecture for Elderly research project.
