Played an Instrumental role in the proficient and cost effective recovery of numerous shipments. International & domestic shipments would be analyzed daily for any changes such as delays in vessel transit or sooner than expected arrivals, follow on action would then be to acquire the arrival notice and prepare the shipment(s) for custom clearance. I would then reach out to my network of trusted carriers for discharged containers or shipments ready for recovery. Pickup appointments would be acquired for said containers and documents would be prepared for transit. For the domestic side of things I would provide all the necessary documents required to properly conduct the transit of the freight such as BOL, rate confirmations, shipping labels, and pickup or delivery reference numbers to the carrier, shipper and consignee if a delivery appointment was required. Once that was set up we would then provide drayage, warehouse transfer, LTL, partial, or FTL options to the customer for approval. The customer portal would be revised and would reflect themost current information made available to myself.
