Born in the countryside of São Paulo, my story is written with the simplicity and strength of a dedicated family. Son of a public school teacher and a factory worker, I grew up in a home where the value of work and education were fundamental pillars. From an early age, life taught me about effort and overcoming challenges, studying in public school and working hard on informal jobs. These experiences shaped not only my character but also a deep sense of gratitude and commitment to those who crossed my path, helping me to grow personally and professionally. Today, as Head of Commercial Finance and Strategy at Diageo, I look back and see that each challenge faced was a step to reach where I am. With nearly 20 years of experience in finance, the last 10 in leadership positions in two major companies, my journey is marked by a passion for turning challenges into opportunities. At Diageo, I started as Head of Supply Finance, where I led a team of 25 people, supporting the areas of Transportation, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Import processes. Now, I lead a team of 15 talents, directing strategic priorities and supporting the sales and marketing teams, always with an eye on innovation and sustainable growth. Before that, at Reckitt, I worked for 6 years, holding 7 positions, one of which challenged outside of finance. My professional journey is a reflection of the values I hold: resilience, teamwork, and leadership that inspires and motivates. Outside the corporate environment, I am a resident of São Paulo, with Portuguese citizenship, husband of Vanessa, and father of Lucas and Manu. My family is my safe harbor and the source of my daily inspiration. I am grateful to everyone who has been part of my journey, from the days of struggle in the countryside of São Paulo to the corridors of a multinational. Each shared story, each overcome challenge, and each achieved success were possible thanks to a community of colleagues, friends, and family who believed in me.
