Capacity buildingiI’ve designed Brooke’s MEAL capacity building strategy, which it is being implemented.I coordinate capacity building activities that covers all levels of Brooke structure, deliver face to face and distant training activities in close collaboration with other Brooke teams and individually. I also coach M&E colleagues based in country programmes. EvaluationsI have managed independent evaluations of Brooke Jordan, Brooke work in Nicaragua, Nepal and Pakistan. I’m currently managing the evaluation of Brooke Ethiopia. This includes close collaboration with country programme teams and technical experts based in the UK.Developing MEAL Systems I support country programmes to develop their monitoring and evaluation system that respond primarily to local needs and are aligned to Brooke Global strategy.

I played a pivotal role in securing 44 M from DfID by setting the indicators, global baseline and targets for the DfID Strategic Grant Agreement 2014-16 logframe, including articulation of VSO's ToC into measurable outcomes. My work on the global reporting system and my contribution to the DFID report were instrumental in improving VSO’s performance, securing an “A” in the SGA 2013-14 and subsequent annual reports to DfID. My main responsibilities included: Leading on overall quantitative data management. Leading on quantitative data input for DfID SGA annual report and VSO Annual Report. Setting up VSO Global data collection and reporting system. Leading on Quality Assurance process for the global data collection process. Together with senior management, supporting the development of new VSO global results framework (DFID logframe) and VSO Business case development.

PARASOL – Cochabamba, Bolivia, 01/10/12 – 30/11/12I conducted the mid-term evaluation of a project working with families and individuals with emotional health problems - “People with mental health disabilities and the exercise of human rights”. VSO International, London, UK, 21/03/12 – 15/05/12Assessment of the quality of VSO's global database containing information of more than 600 partners working in more than 24 countries. Based on information provided by VSO's country programmes, I led on definition of VSO’s global milestones (outputs and outcomes) in five thematic areas: Health, Education, Participation and governance, HIV &AIDS, Secure livelihoods and Disability) of the DfID’s Strategic Grand Agreement Logical framework 2011-14.VSO International, London, UK, 16/09/11 – 15/11/11Using VSO's baseline and estimated results collected in 2011, I produced management reports with high level analysis and recommendations at global (2), regional (5) and country level (28), covering 6 thematic areas: health, disability, education, HIV and AIDS, livelihoods and participation and governance.
