As an Accounting & Finance Assistant at Mitsui E&P USA LLC, I report directly to the Corporate Controller. I assist the accounting team with various tasks such as Accounts Payable functions, Expense Reports, 1099s, etc. I also assist with the Finance and Treasury Department with tasks such as Payment Confirmations, Royalty Payments, Reconciliations, Stale Check Reports, etc.I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Houston/ Bauer School of Business, where I have gained knowledge and skills in business, finance, and accounting principles and practices. I am motivated to learn and grow as a professional, and I value teamwork, integrity, and excellence. I have also demonstrated my leadership and communication skills as a member of multiple organizations and honor societies, a captain on the Varsity Soccer Team, as well as a state finalist in the Criminal Justice competitions in high school.
