Behavior analyst for a Crisis Stabilization and Assessment group home

-Directed program participants in effecting behavioral change, primarily in the area of activities of daily living, behavior management, and social skills.-Developed and implemented behavior plans utilizing treatment guidelines in the implementation of behavior techniques.-Worked with supervisors in the development, implementation, maintenance, and generalization of behavioral change. Maintained the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines in the implementation of behavioral techniques.-Submited weekly log and progress notes indicating objectives, strategies, and results obtained.-Consulted with staff, insurance providers, lawyers, service providers post-discharge, and family on treatment recommendations and progress. Participated in family education and therapy as needed.-Participated in treatment planning with the trans-disciplinary team on the rehabilitation team.-Ensured evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant in a timely manner. -Consulted with and/or trained staff in behavioral techniques.

Provided in-home ABA and VB therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

-Provided 1:1 instruction to a child with autism as well as acted as a support to the other instructional aides in the classroom who work 1:1 with three other children.-Assisted in implementing behavioral interventions as well as carry out working on specific tasks and collecting data on students behaviors daily.-Utilization of applied behavior analysis -Worked closely with a special education teacher, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and behavioral consultant to revise interventions and discuss any changes in behavior or complications. Routinely met to discuss progress and to revise goals.-Maintained a safe and nurturing working environment.-Aided in the assistance of basic needs of child and working towards him being more independent.

-Assisted in outreach programs such as the Clothesline Project, classroom presentations, and community flyers-Organized and inventoried supplies in the shelter and shelter office-Assisted new shelter residents with affording and buying clothing, food, and other basic needs-Acted as an advocate at the Child Advocacy Center on many occasions supporting both women in children in need. Provided both crisis counseling and additional resources.-Responded to calls and provided crisis counseling and support while on the hotline (5pm-8am)-Present as an advocate supporting women at the local shelter, hospital, and courthouse as needed

-Coordinated blood and toiletry drives during the fall and spring semesters of the academic school year -Directed the Angel Tree Project. Planned, marketed, and executed a project to benefit >400 children in the Plymouth community during the holiday season for 4 consecutive years. -Founder and coordinator of Service Saturday events-Editor for the Service Spotlight, a monthly newsletter highlighting service done by individuals and organizations on campus-Assisted in marketing and facilitating guest speakers, performers, and events held on campus-Community Service Orientation Leader 2009-2012- Led a group of 20 new students at Plymouth State University the week prior to classes starting in order to get them adjusted to the college and local community. Planned group activities, team building activities, and reflection exercises after service trips to local non-profit organizations in Plymouth, NH.
