Such projects include large-scale offshore wind farms proposed off the West Australian coast. I am primarily responsible for their sustainable development and obtaining the required consents for these projects. CAREER OVERVIEWInternational Experience:Having worked for international operators and engineering consultancies, liaising with government agencies, in Africa, the Americas, Australasia, Europe, and the Middle-East, my experience encompasses the full lifecycle of offshore resources projects, from new ventures through to decommissioning, including marine and coastal facilities.Impact Assessment, Risk Management, & Project Financing:I’ve developed and implemented multiple environmental and social impact assessments, together with corresponding management plans and sustainability reports, ensuring conformance with various national and regional legislative frameworks, risk management and sustainable development standards, and international financing requirements, such as those prescribed by the World Bank Group and International Finance Corporation. Integrated Management Systems, Auditing, & Reporting:Considerable expertise developing, maintaining, and auditing cross-jurisdictional integrated management systems, together with corresponding operational procedures and sustainability reporting, utilising my broad knowledge of international management system standards, sustainable development goals and standards, and industry best practices.EDUCATIONMulti-disciplinary educational background with an undergraduate degree in civil/structural engineering and a master’s degree in international environmental law and law of the sea.
