Dr. Ceyda Best is a Chief Operations Research Scientist and Co-Founder of spAIder, a startup focused on developing AI solutions for businesses. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a focus on data analysis, optimization, and simulation from Clemson University, where she also served as a Graduate Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Dr. Best has valuable experience in Gurobi, Python, SQL, R, and Tableau, which she gained during her work in both the graduate level and in the industry. She is an award-winning Lead Data Analyst at Universal Service Administrative Co. (USAC), where she has improved demand forecasting and fraud detection methodologies, and built data sources to migrate reports from an older system to Tableau. Dr. Best is a rising star in the field of data science and operations research, and her analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills make her stand out from the crowd.
