I'm an independent arts manager, curator, entrepreneur, festival programmer, DEI expert, and EU project lead with 20+ years of experience, primarily working as the programmer of international festivals, initiator of transnational collaborations with close ties to world-known arts and cultural institutions, orchestras, artists and ensembles. In Helsinki, I founded MiklagardArts, a facilitator and connector for promoting transnational and transcultural collaborations. I use my versatile know-how to envision and cultivate unique strategies to support a cultural evolution towards a more diverse, equitable and inclusive society. I grew up in a cosmopolitan family and have always been fascinated by complex and fluid social identities. I have worked with diverse cultures.
