Reporting to the Executive Director, totalizing about 3300 employees and another 2000 employees of subcontractor’s service.- Asset management planning and execution. Experience in feasibility studies and presentation to CEO and board; Projects leads to EBTIDA increase.- Leadership of a strategic study and business plan definition, including market and raw materials studies, for a green field steel project in USA, including various negotiating meetings with economic development department of 9 American states.- Leadership of a strategic study and business plan definition aiming double the revenues of the two operations in Europe in Portugal and Germany, brownfield projects, including market, raw material and manufacturing technologies studies.- Planning and execution of several innovation and industry 4.0 projects, totalizing significant cost reduction and EBTIDA increasing.- Insourcing of several internal logistics service contracts, totalizing over 800 employees and 500 equipment (trucks, lifters, hoists, cranes, cars, etc.), with total cost reduction.- Management of specialized maintenance execution team (1500 emp.), increasing of productivity using Lean tools.- Management of large electrical and mechanical workshop, increasing capacity project “on going” with expected cost reduction and lead time reduction.- Maintenance management of over 300 overhead cranes and 44 locomotives, achieving with total downtime reduction of over 5%.- Development of decision-making management tools, promoting culture change to use it for project portfolio prioritization and risk mitigation.

Reporting to the Executive Director, totalizing about 200 high performance employees – senior engineers and automation specialists.- Created and structured new department, hiring, training and developing teams for planning and executing innovation projects in several areas, as productivity increasing, technological upgrade and 4.0 industry; implantation of projects of cost reduction and EBTIDA increasing.- Development and implementation of strategic planning of engineering department, improving process and implementing agile methodology.

Reporting to the Executive Director, totalizing about 750 employees and another 250 employees of subcontractor’s service.- P/L responsibility with support of Corporate Sales Department.- Implantation of Quality culture, integrating the shop floor with the customer requirements, using on-line integration software and using several management tools as Total Productivity Maintenance and Lean Six Sigma.- Planning and implementation of strategic management system and respective KPI’s, based on BSC (Balanced Score card).- Experience on high demand costumers, as Automotive and Appliance.- Excellent results on EHS, Quality and productivity KPI’s as well as costs and financing KPI’s, accomplishing various plant ever best results; the Araucaria operation became the best on the group.- Lead the certification on ISO 14.001 and ISO TS 16.949 standards.- Improving on social and cultural funding.- Improving the organization climate with well-coordinated actions.Key Results achieved in the period from 2007 to 2013:- Reduction of Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) by 55%;- Increasing of Total Productivity (OEE) by 47%; increasing of net per capita incomings by 75% with products development and costumer aggregated services and Increasing manpower productivity by 33% ; “Non First time first quality” reduction by 30% and costumers quality claim reduction by 50%;- Development of JIT software based system for appliance and automotive costumers, increasing the on time delivering, reducing costumer storage and increasing net sales for over 10%;- Implantation of Management System for documents control, Action Plan and Performance measurement, which was recognized as benchmark in CSN group.
