Current role includes management & directing our Supply Chain team and operation, comprised of 12 individuals who provide procurement and purchasing of all goods/materials, as well as all inventory management throughout. I lead and direct all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, inventory control and job costing, as materials support to meet production schedules. This position provides leadership and direction on a cross functional basis. Main goals are to standardize processes and procedures for the procurement process, warehousing, materials & inventory management.

Current role includes managing our Warehouse (Shipping & Receiving Team) comprised of 24 employees (3 shifts). Duties include staffing, continuous improvement, on-time delivery, as well as all Logistics related to Par 4. Also, with this role I manage the flow of packaging available for our customers. This includes vendor management, corrugated outsourcing, as well as logistics surrounding incoming and outgoing packaging.Along with the warehouse, and packaging, I manage our IT Department consisting of 1 other employee and a Managed Services Provider. This includes all hardware, software, networking, infrastructure, etc. that go along with information technology. Production Control Mgt: comprised of scheduling, forecasting, order entry and customer service. Currently managing the scheduling of production including 46 injection molding presses. Provides monthly recommendations on press capacity and production planning. Review production schedules and sales orders to make decisions concerning inventory and staffing requirements, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Provides leadership and direction on warehouse capacity. This is comprised of a Shipping Manager, Shift Supervisor, and 12 Shipping Employees. Duties include providing support and direction to all shipping personnel, implement new technology and systematic improvements, develop efficient work structure and environment for all staff, lead projects and improvement initiatives, as well as oversee delivery performance standards. IT - Handling the day to day IT operations, managing projects and outsourcing. This includes: all hardware, desktops, laptops, printers, label printers, servers, Microsoft Exchange Administration, Active Directory Administration, Phone System Administration, Cellular Device & Tablet Administration, Wireless configurations, and any other IT related task within the company.

Project and Implementation manager for Backup Solution.• Site technical lead for DSI Inbound Lot Control project for Princeton facility.• Site technical lead for Ralcorp SSS acquisition implementations (El Paso, TX/Georgetown, ON/Kitchener, ON).

 Provide a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the plant’s computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC and server equipment, telephone system equipment, fax and copy machine equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain network design and provide for capacity planning.  Evaluate and provide fiscal yearly budget and implement budgeted projects Served as Project Managers on: Cisco VoIP phone plan and installation as well as DSI Warehouse Management project.

 Created and Administered Safety Training Observation Program (STOP) application for BFG. Troubleshoot workstations, hardware and software for the plant side of the corporation. Also serve as backup technician to our remote sites within the corporation.  Responsibility includes, but not limited to, installing hardware, software, printers, scanners, monitors, telephones, etc.  Heavily involved with maintaining all PC’s in the company, as well as phone system installation, inventory requisition, hardware upgrades and changeover, security system and monitoring, as well as any technology related event occurring in the plant.  In concordance with the job, plan and evaluate expenditures within our IT capital budget.  A direct report to the Director of Operations in a managerial decision making position. Also serve as one of the support technicians for Avaya hardware and software for Avaya phone system within the plant in Princeton, Ky.

• Handled deduction resolution, updating price lists, promotions, accrual balance, as well as other various things in the E1 JDE system. • Communication was a key role in this assignment. As a CAR, you endure your own customers and deal with them on a daily basis to help keep deductions and issues to a minimum. • Some of the customers that were assigned: Food Lion, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Shopko, Pamida, Nash Finch, Roundy’s, as well as several others.

 Computer technician for the Lyon County School District.  Responsible for maintaining and upgrading 400 computers within the district. Also helped with maintaining the network, assisting the network administrator.  Installed network switches and hubs, as well as all hardware associated with a computer.  This job demanded ability to think quickly and work diligently to solve technical related issues concerning the teachers, students, and faculty.

 Ziggycom was a locally owned internet business. They had around 2000 dial-up and DSL customers in the surrounding counties in Kentucky.  Dealt with customers on an everyday basis providing technical support for internet and computer related problems.  Head computer repair technician, repairing each computer brought into Ziggycom.  This job required technical skills with the combination of customer service related skills with the need to be able to communicate effectively and efficiently in a timely manner when customers called or came into the office with an issue.

Set up dial up access on Macintosh/Apple based computer systems. Also served as desktop support for Macintosh/Apple computer related issues.
