As Java coder, I started with development of services built with java, supporting our websites. Image/Video process, Message queuing, Payment, Single Sign On, Blockchain(NEM).... Gradually, I have studied and shifted to data area as our team aims to become data driven. I familiarize tools/framework for data mining, which brought me to a new horizon. As technology & tools always evolve and improve to be more user-friendly, I still feel quite distant to the math/statistics principles behind data science. As we generate more and more data in our lives, data also shapes our minds. I wish to explore more in this complexity. In practice, apart from development for java systems, I have also been working as a data engineer, setting up infrastructures like Hadoop cluster, Hive, Kafka, processing to clean data for data scientists. Overall, I grow with sharing knowledge between amazing colleagues.

In order to gather and dispatch logistic transaction information from many branches over the world, the SMPNG system is also backed by many other message sources. I had been working on this project in Germany with German colleagues for six weeks. This time, new features were designed for handling booking and tracking operations given by clients. It ought to replace the legacy SMPNG system and present business logic in more modern and user-friendly style. As a member of the group, I had managed to communicate and collaborate with colleagues from different countries and with different backgrounds. From my experience, I learned that some things are beyond language barrier, mainly caused by different mindset and culture or roles, while some communication skills would be very effective solution to break down misunderstanding and deliver ideas.This job taught me much about those advanced tools used in enterprise development. sonar for code checking, Jenkins for continuous integration, Fisheyes for refacotory, all those are very useful tools for big scale software development.Responsibilities: Module Design, Programming and unit testing, collaboration between German customers and other developers.

JEE techniques, such as EJB, JMS, are very helpful for building highly flexible System. SNMP and CLI are two mainly measures used in device operations. This product has been developed for couple years, and it is getting more capable of management of big scale network. our target is to make it more effective and robust.Responsibilities: I am working in support group that developers utilities modules relieving other workmates of trifles such as DB operations, UI pattern. we found that most of business modules might include same functions, and we abstract those, and plan to build support base module, this was my challenging job.Lesson I learned, To develop base components used to support many other concrete modules, it is important not to abuse design patterns and complicate the interface. otherwise, colleagues would hate your over-engineering code. More over, interfaces should be made flexible enough with OOP principles so that components can be reused in various cases at minimum cost, otherwise your manager would hate your code

Product Development I worked in LianChuang Technology that has been taken by AsiaInfo after my resignation. During that period, I took part in development of SAS system. This web-based system was designed to collect and analyze business operation data in big scale enterprise by intercepting the network traffic in intranet without any intrusion on existent systems. Further more, System admins are also able to define business rules to monitor operations on critical resources, such as database and hosts. As designer of the back end server module of the product, I studied some patterns of thread use and java optimization skills. With application of those in work, the product server application is able to handle great heavy workload with medium hardware. We also used some ajax technology to improve users interface so that it would allow system admins to monitor operations on servers immediately like real-time.
