Profile bio

About Corey Curtiss

I have worked in the non-profit field and particularly youth serving organizations since 2000, having served in numerous capacities recruiting and developing volunteers, customer service, program development, budget management, fund development, and donor stewardship. I am driven to build relationships with donors and members to identify and nurture their passion and strategically and compassionately help them meet their philanthropic goals by fostering and implementing an Outward Mindset (a la Arbinger). I've had particular success with annual campaigns, building alumni groups, initiating giving societies, securing medium to major gifts, and stewarding those gifts and donors to strengthen ties to the movement, build networks of giving, and create opportunities for future donor enrichment, increase personal connection to the cause, and ultimately expand donor base. I continually work to improve my skills through seeking knowledge from mentors, engaging in training, and seeking out new challenges and experiences. I also pride myself on building relationships and a strong social network through teaching, presenting, and continuing my involvement and volunteer work in numerous organizations across the state of Michigan, the county, and internationally.Currently, I serve the Michigan Masons on the Lodge Success Team helping lodge leaders from over 130 lodges reach their highest potential in bringing a high-value, personalized Masonic Experience to their members. I consult with lodge leaders to build Strategic Plans that focus lodge resources to develop lasting relationships with their members, families, prospects, and local commuities. I help Masons implement the tools of Arbinger's Developing and Implementing an Outward Mindset and the tenets of Masonry: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth to build lasting connections and compassionate relationships with other Masons and those in their families, churches, workplaces, and communities. With the Outward Mindset and Masonic teaching as a foundation Lodge Success plans integrate leadership development, fiscal planning and sustainability, member value and personal growth, operational efficiency, and community involvement to help the lodge achieve the vision of making good men better.

Listed skills include Leadership, Fundraising, Volunteer Recruiting, Volunteer Management, and 46 others.
