As the Foundation for the Center for Healthcare Entrepreneurship (CfHE) at IIT Hyderabad, we are committed to driving healthcare innovations that address India's critical healthcare challenges. Established in 2016, CfHE has launched 33 start-ups, developed over 50 IPs, and brought 8 products to market. Our incubator supports diverse medical device innovations, including wearable health monitors, AI-driven rehabilitation tools, non-invasive diagnostics, smart therapeutic devices, and advanced surgical systems—enhancing patient outcomes across neonatal care, chronic conditions, and critical care.Our mission encompasses healthcare education, technology development, and entrepreneurship, focusing on translating novel medical devices from bench to bedside. Key objectives include upskilling the nation's youth through a one-year biomedical engineering fellowship, fostering start-ups for affordable healthcare solutions, and developing indigenous devices for preventive and primary care. We aim to create a large-scale impact by deploying affordable medical technologies while generating employment and addressing unmet healthcare needs across India.
