-Supervise in-house machine shop & staff of 3 machinists.-Supervise engineering interns.-Consult with new and existing customers on DFM.-Consult with sales team on manufacturability, budget, and associated requirements for new RFQs.-Develop mechanical and electromechanical systems to support manufacturing requirements.-Develop, prototype, test, and implement manufacturing and assembly methods and processes to produce manufactured part in accordance with customer's requirements, while meeting standards, budget, and timeline.-Identify areas of improvement, and design and implement tools/and procedures to maximize productivity and improve the quality of deliverables-Analyze manufacturing processes for efficiency.-Create, check, and maintain mechanical designs for tooling, products, systems, and items.-Create, check, and maintain 3D files for tooling, products, systems, and items. -Develop testing processes and procedures to ensure customer requirements are maintained. Perform testing and validation of new manufacturing processes. -Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.-Perform engineering calculations to support customer design work and manufacturing processes.-Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (both internal & external), and work with vendors and contractors.-Perform detailed documentation to develop, track, and asses project development and design process.-Maintain engineering processes in accordance to ISO9001 standard.
