As Specification Lead my responsibilities was in designing and specifying the future functionality of our Safety Management System through the use of User Cases and Figma Prototypes. I also served as one of the main communication links between the developer team of 15 people, stakeholders and the rest of the company. As Technical Manager I had an extended responsibility to help integrate technical solutions internally as well as improving on procedures and routines to help the company operate efficiently. This may involve basics such as organizing Excel sheets but also writing custom VBA macros for Excel & Word. I was also responsible for our integration and use of Zoho CRM/Projects

Responsible for the writing and delivery of Inventory of Hazardous Materials reports.- Created a "database" in Excel using VBA Userforms to handle both data and files.- Wrote the procedures and routines for performing IHM inspections, ensuring compliance and efficiency- Developed the IHM Report and VSCP structure in cooperation with DNV GL. - Coded VBA macros for Excel and Word which allowed for near fully automated report generation.- Authored 200+ IHM Reports which where approved by relevant authorities (DNV, BV, RINA, LR etc.)- Undertook numerous physical ship inspections. With the largest being two cruise ships.- Coordinated and QA checked the work of 10+ people both for inspections, data quality and report compilation. Some direct personnel responsibility.- Performed training and remote assistance to ships which couldn't be physically inspected due to distance and covid-19 travel restrictions

Enhancement of Teaching Materials for MECH1280 Engineering Materials.The internship was focused on improving the quality and readability of the lecture handouts, with focus on non-native speakers. I achieved this by:- Writing clear and concisely.- Created many high quality annotated illustrations explaining concepts.- Making wide use of tables for formatting & "boxing in" important equations along with their variables- Leaving blank spaces for students to fill in. Including in-sentence blanks, known as "cloze deletions"- Providing in-lecture quizzes as well as designated space in the handouts to solve them.

Self established business, based on a number of self taught IT skills in hardware and software troubleshooting. I certified my skills by taking the CompTIA A+ exam.Hardware/software troubleshooting, printer installation, smartphone battery and LCD replacement.

Helping customers sort out their technical problems and setting up new devices per customer requests. I used my skills in customer relations and knowledge of electronics to make sure I met customer demands in a friendly and helpful manner.
