- Heading the local CFO’s in 20 subsidiaries across Asia- Member of the board of directors of all Asian subsidiaries- Support of BU and segment CFO’s in various projects in Asia- Develop and direct the activities of the professional staff involved with the financial aspects of operations, including forecasting, planning, budgeting, credit and collections, cost accounting, financial control systems, reporting, cash management, foreign currency hedging, intercompany financing and handling of third party accounts, etc.- Building up of new shared services centers in Asia- Implement and maintain the Budget-, Forecast- Investment- and Reporting processes as per Corporate Guidelines and instructions- Actively review and implement the business models decided for each division in close co-operation with Corporate Finance- Coordinate with Corporate Internal Audit regarding the development and implementation of an efficient and effective system of internal control processes- Share knowledge, train and consult the F&A team in Asia- Representation tasks- Building up of an Asian cash pooling across all legal entities in Asia

- As Group CFO member of the executive board- Full responsibility for all accounting, HR and IT matters of the Thurella Group of companies- Implementing totally new structures in the accounting department: ERP system, MIS, staff, etc.- Implementing Swiss GAP FER (including accounting guidelines)- Implementing cost accounting (cost centre, profit centers)- Implementing pre- and post calculation tool and process- Implementing a new MIS for internal use and bank relation- Be a direct contact for all bank relations and credit management- Financial guidance in the restructuring project of closing one production site- Integration of the newly acquired production site- Integration of the acquired Biotta AG- Listing (IPO) of Thurella at the stock exchange in Bern, Switzerland

- As group CFO member of the executive board of the Strellson Group- Full responsibility for all accounting, HR and IT Matters of the Strellson Group of companies- Reporting to Share holders and Board of directors- Heading the whole budgeting process- Consolidation of the Strellson group of companies- Controlling- Cash Management- Heading the IT department- Heading the HR department - Building up an outlet store in Metzingen Germany- Member of the board of all Strellson subsidiaries

- IFRS consolidation for 50 Financial Holdings of the Holcim Group- Implementation of IFRS 39 (financial instruments) and responsibility for the worldwide implementation - Establishing monthly MIS incl. Management commentary and KPI Cockpit- Heading the project to implement SAP R3 for all Financial Holdings- Heading the project to establish a standardized chart of account for all Financial Holdings- Part of the implementation team of a new treasury software

- Project related work in Switzerland and abroad for the investigation of white collar crime- Heading the local teams at customers site- Establishing the necessary reports for the lawyers to represent the legal case in court- Organizing various customer events and marketing activities

- Establishing Forecast, Budgets and Closings for the Sulzer International Group on FDC according to IFRS (roughly 40 companies)- Implementing SAP R2 for the newly founded Sulzer International Ltd.- Installing an accounting team of 5 employees- Heading the consolidation team- Responsible as a Regional Controller for the regions Middle East Asia and South America with a turnover of CHF 250 Mio.- Being a project member in the implementation team of the FDC consolidation tool for the Sulzer group
