As the UX designer and User researcher at GreenPow, a start-up that provides sustainable cloud solutions, I am designing a new website from scratch and improving their online platform. I work in an international team of two other UX designers. My role revolves around leveraging user research, user journey mapping, and usability tests to inform data-driven design decisions.

My research was focused on designing guidelines aimed at cultivating a community on a hormone-tracking application to empower individuals to initiate conversations and gain insights into their hormonal health, fostering a collective consciousness of women's health and hormones. In addition to my thesis, I developed content for the company's social media (Instagram and LinkedIn), made designs for merchandise and events, and helped out with organising events and campaigns.Grade: A

Women@EIT is a community dedicated to bridging the gender gap by empowering women in innovation and entrepreneurship. My responsibilities included community growth, member engagement, education, empowerment, and advocacy. I actively cultivated a vibrant and inclusive community, fostering dialogue, and knowledge-sharing. In addition to facilitating discussions and empowering women within the network, I amplified our impact by disseminating our mission both verbally and through digital channels, effectively promoting our cause and our community's initiatives.

During my 6-month internship at the OECD, I worked for the Dutch team of the Trade and Agricultural Directive. I collaborated on the mission to the Netherlands where our team met with private, public and government stakeholders to analyse the productivity, sustainability and resilience of the agricultural sector in the Netherlands. My role revolved around evaluating the Netherlands' adoption of cutting-edge technology, positioning them as global pioneers in sustainable agriculture. I also analysed how emerging technologies and digitalization can contribute to their continued growth and success.

After two years of being involved with Liter of Light, I took on the role of President. Within this period, I successfully assembled a diverse team of fifteen individuals, each coming from various backgrounds and nationalities. We integrated into the newly set-up European chapter, actively collaborating on fundraising initiatives. My key responsibilities encompassed external communications with both the European and Global Liter of Light organizations, as well as internal team communications. I further oversaw project management and the coordination of fundraising events, ensuring their smooth execution.

My role in Liter of Light Netherlands started with my community-building efforts by promoting our events and engaging with people on multiple fronts. I created visibility by spreading our mission verbally and through our digital channels. I engaged individuals during our events and connected them with our story and mission. By fostering a sense of excitement and purpose, I ensured that people not only attended our events but also became deeply invested in our cause, contributing to the growth and success of our community-building efforts.

As part of an honours research project, I conducted an analysis of the entrepreneurial orientation (EO), innovativeness and performance of health and sanitation SMEs in Kenya. My research re-evaluated the original EO dimensions and provided a new framework that positions innovativeness as the factor through which the other dimensions affect a business's performance. The data came from 432 business owners collected by the Financial Inclusion for Sanitation and Health in Kenya project. I conducted a statistical analysis performing OLS regressions and structural equation modelling. Grade: 10/10
