At Dell Technologies I lead an innovative and business-focused legal team that achieves great results at a low cost while leveraging technology to enable quick data-supported decisions.I have been fortunate to serve in senior legal roles spanning corporate securities, governance, international, compliance, litigation, cybersecurity and commercial law. These roles have provided the opportunity to live and learn among legal communities around the world while leading globally dispersed legal teams. I have supported strategic technology transactions and partnerships, guided international ethics and compliance investigations, smoothed the path of new product introductions and effectively integrated large corporate acquisitions. I currently lead the Corporate legal team at Dell which provides legal advice and strategy in support of public disclosures, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, capital market transactions, and investor relationships. The foundation of this role is designing and implementing an effective global legal regulatory compliance program. I have always tried to lead with momentum. And working at Dell, we practice on the cutting-edge of business law. As a legal team we strike a balance among today’s tasks and building the talent, technology and processes to excel in the future. This is similar to the digital transformation that many of Dell's enterprise customers are undertaking as they prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the next decade. This means a departure from slow leader-driven decisions that often relied on gut instinct and required input from even more senior attorneys who also were operating on their instincts, to data-driven decision making closer to the front lines. I’m excited to continue to push the envelope of what legal departments can do to enable business growth and deliver a differentiated customer experience. I’m also proud of the momentum that Dell has brought into corporate responsibility initiatives, like the Dell Legacy of Good. We take the same focused, transparent approach to our social responsibility goals as we do any of our other business goals.
