From May, 1988 to September, 2001, in addition to his work with Microsoft, Chaves founded and/or worked with startup teams for enterprise software and technology companies and Fortune 500 companies, including the Brazilian subsidiary of Philips, N.V., as reseller account manager in its lighting division, ClickInvest, an e-finance website, as a co-founder and CEO, and Vesta Technologies, an e-business software development company, as Sales Director. In 2001 Chaves founded Seival Systems, company focused and developing and researching quantitative models for trading and investing in Global capital markets. In 2007 Mr. Chaves Co-founded Seival Investimentos, an asset management company based in Porto Alegre - Brazil. Chaves holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a post-graduate degree in marketing from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil (“PUC-RS”).Specialties: systematic Trend Trading.Trading System development, real world risk taker, and heuristics.
