Human Resources Bureau, Department of State• Deputy Project Manager for the Department of State’s personnel system, a PeopleSoft Federal HRMS (8.8) project, responsible for the daily management of project activities including creating & managing Project Plans for 17+ new projects and managing the scope of each; managing resource assignments for projects and O&M work and allocation of hours in client’s time-keeping system; creating and updating status reports with the Project Manager; leading meetings with staff and clients; providing strategic recommendations related to functional activities for current and future releases. Leverage industry standard PM practices to support successful project completions. Shared management of a 20 person staff of developers, testers, requirements specialists, and change management/trainers.• Deployment Manager for all system related releases including multiple self-service products for use Department-wide (a 25000+ domestic/international user community). Responsibilities include developing and managing deployment and project plans; writing executive memos for approval of deployment by Senior Management, when applicable; coordinating efforts with Development, Change Management, and Training teams; briefing Senior Management and key stakeholders; planning and managing User Acceptance Testing.• Business Process Team Lead managing the collection, analysis, validation, and finalization of requirements. Responsible for oversight of project documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, Requirements, Charters, Briefings, Deployment Checklists, and User Acceptance Testing Guides.• Developer of Change Management pilot SharePoint site. Site included incorporation of InfoPath forms, surveys, discussions, centralized document repository, and customized tracking lists and webparts.
