Earthquake Ground Shaking Landslide Information and Research in Philippines (SLIP) Project - Earthquake-Induced Landslide (EIL) Component- Identified and assessed soil exposures and landslides in Google Earth satellite images and validated in the field.- Analyzed spatial data using GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, and Global Mapper).- Produced soil-morphological maps using IfSAR data and integrated field-validated soil shear strength parameters in ArcGIS.- Generated preliminary EIL hazard and depositional zone maps using GIS-based Newmark Analysis and TauDEM.- Conducted landslide survey and field validation in Albay (Region V) from December 2022.- Conducted Quick Response Team (QRT) assessment to post-earthquake damages and landslides in Benguet, Mountain Province, and Ifugao (CAR) from the 2022 July 27 Magnitude 7.0 Northwestern Luzon Earthquake from August 2022.- Co-authored and published QRT research paper entitled "Impacts and Causative Fault of the 2022 Magnitude (Mw) 7.0 Northwestern Luzon Earthquake, Philippines."- Produced assessment reports and technical presentations.- Prepared work instructions or manuals for modeling and other related procedures.
