I'm a 24 year old drummer and musician from the South Wales valleys. I have been playing drums for 14 years and have recently completed a Professional Musicianship Degree (specialising in Drums) as of 2020. Since my undergraduate (2017–20) I have completed a Masters in Popular Music Practice in (2020–21) and will continue my academic journey with a PhD at Glasgow University in October of 2022 under the supervision of Doctor Matt Brennan. I have a keen interest in Jazz, Blues, Country, Classic Rock and the study of the history of the drum kit; specifically the reasons as to why drummers' gear has evolved the way it has and the curious reasons and origins of the drum kit individual instruments.
