As the Head of Engineering, I spearheaded teams across NYC and Toronto from inception to substantial growth stages, contributing to securing over $100M in funding and scaling operations. I led teams across across web, mobile, infrastructure, data engineering, data science, and early Product. Collaborating closely with fellow Executives and reporting directly to the CEO, I crafted a multi-year engineering vision that aligned cross-functional efforts and cultivated a dynamic, collaborative culture, resulting in impactful outcomes.

• Created a robust and redundant dividend payment state machine in Java that automatically re-allocated customer's capital.• Architected and remodeled an internal tax processing platform.

UberEATS • Launched the first version of UberEATS. Developed Node middleware for our real-time communications, for inventory management, and dispatch and logistics for UberEATS. • Led development for a new inventory management platform in Node and React. • Mentored new hires and small projects while leading interview cycles as a bar-raiser.UberRUSH • Led the Pricing Engine project: a flexible rules engine to standardize pricing strategies. • Worked on modular pricing for multi-leg and batched trips.

Communications Platform • Built fault tolerant and scalable systems delivering SMS, Email, and Push Notifications to millions of users. • Created a marketing and campaigning platform to power company wide research. • Developed an Android app to monitor per city carrier deliverability and intelligently switch providers.

Worked with 3D models of the body to create beautiful, custom prosthetic limbs for our customers. Developed an iOS application that would be used by doctors and physicians to scan patients.• Worked on MVP for a 3D body scanner generating 3D meshes to develop prosthetics.• Used OpenCV and C++ to create mesh models of limbs.• Created scripts to automate image classification.
