I'm Chris Grumboski, owner of CMIT Solutions of Oak Park, Hinsdale and Oak Brook. CMIT Solutions offers enterprise-quality managed IT support services to small and mid-sized businesses in the near western suburbs of Chicago at a flat monthly rate. My business is helping you focus on your business, while my team takes care of the technology.While growing up, I was always surrounded, and fascinated by, technology. My father was a systems analyst at AT&T and we had computers in our house since the early 1970s. One of his first computers used a ticker tape punch-out as a way to store data! I was always interested in the way the technology kept improving over time. Although I started my career in finance, I have always used computers for a great deal of tasks such as photo editing, as a home media server and to program holiday light shows for my house. I've always wanted to do something in IT and joining CMIT has given me that chance. Throughout my career I've seen how helping others had an impact on them while also making me feel like I was making a positive impact.
