I also held leadership responsibility due to a Nurse Manager vacancy and provided clinical supervision and oversight of nursing staff in a hematology/oncology ambulatory practice.Highlights:• Partnered with internal consultants on development of dashboards and analytics tools to assess outcomes for regulatory compliance and visualize key metrics (infection control, prevention of hospitalization, safety goals). • Performed risk assessments across the clinic to identify risk and liability related to equipment hazards, patient falls, etc. Enforced policy for equipment and utility storage to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. • Maintained up-to-date knowledge of trends and techniques in patient care through literature review to ensure practice was leveraging modern best practices for clinical interventions. • Tracked data on patient outcomes and safety to identify improvement opportunities based on KPIs.

I initially served on a hematology/oncology/medical surgery unit and later transitioned to an 18 chair infusion room in a hematology/oncology ambulatory practice, serving as full-time Charge Nurse after April 2018. My responsibilities included leading orientation and staff development for new hires.Highlights:• Fostered synergy between physicians, assistants, and nurses in the infusion room by optimizing workflows.• Served in superuser role during Epic EHR implementation.
