I play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the Flight Control Computers in the Embraer E2 aircraft family's fly-by-wire (FBW) system.- Flight Control Laws V&V: I am responsible for meticulously planning, executing, and analyzing V&V activities. Besides being responsible for task delegation and co-workers training, I also craft test plans, conduct tests campaigns, and analyze test results to ensure that the FBW Logics and Control Laws meet the certification requirements. - System and Software Testing: My role involves rigorous integration testing (HW-SW and SW-SW). I prepare simulations, conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and pilot-in-the-loop (PIL) testing to assess and validate the fly-by-wire architecture.- Safety of Flight (SOF) Oversight: To ensure SOF of the Flight Control System, I plan, execute, analyze, and document desktop simulations, RIGs (Software test bench and Iron Bird) tests to certify the system's safety and performance.- System Development: I contribute to the development of system logics, such as during developement of Autoland (CATIII) and Steep-approach functions. This encompasses defining system requirements, engaging in model-based development, and conducting safety assessments.- System and Software Documentation: I assist in producing, checking and maintaining documents such as Problem Reports, Guidelines, Software Accomplishment Summaries, Software Configuration Index, System Validation & Verification Data and Flight Controls System Design Evidence.- Embedded Software Team Interface: I am responsible for integrating the Control Laws and Embedded Software teams, orchestrating cross-team integration, ensuring synchronized task delivery, overseeing software verification from both fronts, planning and executing joint test campaigns, resolving resource conflicts, and driving resource optimization efforts.
