Responsible for the day to day set up, operations, and security of the RC Willey system infrastructure.RC Willey Home Furnishings Salt Lake City, UT•Implement virtual infrastructure and maintenance operations for approximately 500 servers and workstations. Including HPE Superdome and "Synergy" compute environments•Manage all VMWare, RedHat Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS server backend, and SAN storage infrastructure•Protect company’s digital assets through design architecture including disaster recovery using Veeam software, replication and PowerShell scripting, providing a secure and recoverable data protection strategy•Convert company’s ERP system from HP/UX to Red Hat Linux, ensuring longevity of support by moving to current compute and storage•Manage 3rd party vendor relations, critical to ensuring that the company has representation for its vital systems. Leverages these relationships for support and enhancements to the products that are necessary for daily operations.

As a network consultant, I worked with hundreds of small businesses as their IT department.I designed, implemented, and supported all of their IT infrastructure.We used our skills to provide stable systems that did not require constant supervision. We were able to provide regular maintenance and monitoring so that customers could get their jobs done without worrying about a system that constantly had issues.
