911 Emergency Dispatcher
Current-Process, evaluate and provide emergency services through 911 and administrative calls, for police, fire and medical situations, through structured interrogation of caller and determine the type of assistance needed and urgency of the call.-Provide and perform life-saving instructions using Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) and CPR instructions to callers with medical emergencies.-Superior ability to prioritize multiple emergency calls and dispatch appropriate services and apparatuses. Maintain maps, checklists, and charts, including automated programs. Track data using multiple computer programs, including Mircosoft Office Suite and ACES.-Excellent faculties with a wide range of communication equipment, Operate and maintain telephones, automated data procesing equipment and programs. Run multiple public safety computer software programs and equiment which includes radio consoles,E911 telephone systems, paging systems, logging recorders, TTY/TDY devices, AVL mapping, checklists and charts.-Monitor and respond accordingly for the fire and suppression system that runs throughout the entire base. Dispatch what resources are necesswary, when there are problems.-Member of the Fire Peer Support team as well as the Air Force Peer Support Program for the base. I've introduced and created a new program involving training a psychiatric facility service animal that I am able to utilize for the Fire Department, Military and the State debriefings. This has helped to improve the moods and atmosphere and provide emotional support for our community.
