Functions:• Diagnostic phase: Calculate the biophysical indicators of the topics Coverage and Land Use, Areas and Strategic Ecosystems, based on the technical guide of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, Colombia (2014).• Prospective and environmental zoning phase: build the trend scenarios, and carry out the land zoning.• Support the cartographic production of the diagnostic and prospective phase of the biophysical, social and economic components.• Generate the geodatabase with the data sets related to the topics Coverage and Use of the Land, Areas and Strategic Ecosystems. Project “Review and adjustment of the land-use plan scheme at the municipality of Remedios (Antioquia, Colombia)”, for Remedios Town Hall, http://www.remedios-antioquia.gov.co/. Position: Environmental Analyst and cartographic processing, from 17/06/2013 to 17/07/2013 and from 01/08/2014 to 12/09/2014. Objective: To carry out the environmental characterization at the municipality and to prepare the official cartography for the Land-use Plan Scheme at the municipality.Project “Temporary Colombian-Canadian Joint-project La Mojana”; consulting contract No. 045 of 2013 for the Adaptation Fund, which is part of the Ministry of Public Finance and Public Credit, Republic of Colombia. http://sitio.fondoadaptacion.gov.co/, under the following positions: Photographic interpreter from 25/03/2014 to 30/04/2014. Function: Interpretation of the aerial orthophotographs, scale 1:25,000, covering 41,305 ha, level 3 under the methodology Corine Land Cover Colombia. Quality control on interpretation of orthophotos, from 01/05/2014 to 31/07/2014. Functions: To do quality control, assessment and correction of the blueprints interpreted in the coverage and land-use in order to build the entire block at La Mojana, which comprises 1,050,000 ha approximately.

Agreement TQ93 “Forest Management and Governance” with WWF Colombia (http://www.wwf.org.co/), to update the Forest Management Plan of the indigenous reservation at the municipality of Chigorodó, based on the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) forest management standard (emberachigorodo.org/). Functions: • To prepare the update and the Forest Management Plan of Yaberaradó and Polines under the standard of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) forest management.• To review and accompany the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) – Colombia’s consultant to review the methodology to identify the forest attributes with high preservation value. • To systematize and document the chain of custody on the forest management operation at the Higher Indigenous Council of Chigorodó. • To support the preparation of technical reports to be submitted to the WWF under the framework of agreement TQ93. • To carry out the forest zoning of the forest management unit of the reservations Yaberadó and Polines.

Functions: To participate in forest inventory at the Andean forest; to prepare the methodology and perform execution, calculations and analysis to estimate biomass at Andean forests; to manage the database; to contribute to thematic cartography; and to prepare technical reports (www.sag-sa.com/).
