I am a nuclear physicist with long experience in modelling the interaction of radiation with matter. My work is mainly focused on developing and coordinating projects related to Monte Carlo computer simulations for designing new reactor facilities or for dose evaluation.I posses a deep knowledge about the neutronic physics related to the reactor core and concerning the main criticality safety aspects.I have experience with Machine Learning and good know-how of the latest Deep Learning techniques applied to the nuclear domain (fuel optimization, gamma spectroscopy , erc.)I have contributed to the development of new guidelines for radiation dose evaluation as a member of the American (AAPM) and the European (EFOMP) medical physics associations.I plan, coordinate, and organize the implementation of the authorized radiation protection programs and the development of health and safety procedures. In all these activities, I use my expertise in quantitative and qualitative characterization of x-ray detectors, as well as my experience with the radiation hardening and radiation monitoring.Data analysis, 3D visualization, problem-solving, modern computer programming (Python, C++ and octave/MatLab), and critical interpretation of the results are part of my professional activities.I have a proactive work attitude ("can do" oriented) merged with a supportive work-team state. I have managed several research projects where I have shown my leadership capacity by leading the team towards the achievement of the scope.
