Mr. Hongki CHA is a Special Fellow focused on international standardization. He develops standards for autonomous vehicles and formulates standardization strategies and policies. His current responsibilities include:- Sponsor: SAE J3016 - "Taxonomy and Definitions for Terms Related to Driving Automation Systems for On-Road Motor Vehicles"- Editor: ITU-T F.PB-ADS-DV - "Functional requirements of universal interfaces for purpose-built ADS-DV"- Editor: "ITU-T Glossary of terms and definitions for machine learning"- Associate rapporteur: ITU-T Q27/16 - "Vehicular multimedia communications, systems, networks, and applications"He has a record of published international standards, which include ITU-T F.749.6, ITU-T Y.4555, ISO/IEC 23510, OCF Device Specification, OCF Resource Type Specification, and more.He represented South Korea in the ITU Plenipotentiary Conferences in 2014, 2018, and 2022, leading him to three Ministerial Awards for Excellence in 2015, 2018, and 2022, respectively.He speaks four languages: Korean, English, French, and Chinese.
