As a kid I was fascinated by technology and I grew up in the less user friendly days of computers and the internet, so I had to learn how to use documentation, forums, and Google to find solutions to all the computer problems I ran into in my hobbies. I taught myself to make animations in Flash and other programs, I experimented with building games in ActionScript, I dabbled in level editors in my favorite games, and I joined and created internet forums to share and discuss my work with others.In college I obtained positions working on help desks and IT departments where I would help others troubleshoot their technical problems. Eventually, college led me to User Experience design, where I could combine my insight gained from handling tech issues with my passion for creativity.I came to Tech Elevator to add another set of skills to my toolkit that I can use to address user needs. I am currently seeking a role on a development team where I can use my problem solving skills to find creative solutions to design challenges before they become a part of the user experience.At Perficient, I've combined my knowledge of front-end code with my passion for user-centered design in the field of accessibility.
