I have been practicing Yoga for 16 years. I formalized my Yoga and the Healing Sciences studies at Layola Marymount University where I am continuing with Yoga Therapy Program. Yoga came into my life at an early age when becoming an adult was challenging and new. Now, it reentered my life as a way of giving back to the community , a desired to help others to live a more peaceful life. Being a mother of a special needs child left me feelings at times drained and helpless but with my practice I have gained a new sense of meaning to my life and a better way to live my circumstances. I also studied Yoga for Children and autism where I am able to offer my services to children. I currently teach Chair Yoga and Hatha Yoga and Silver Sneakers.
