I work on a couple of projects for Flat Spell Technologies where I work in various aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle. This includes interacting with the client to get feedback and extract additional requirements to make sure the product turns out to be something desirable for them, and In terms of development, I work in the Front end, Back end, APIs, Database, and some Cloud related tasks. Specifically, I am working on the data layer and access management for an E-commerce site that is utilizing MongoDB and S3 buckets for the data and AWS Cognito for the access management. I am also working on a CRM system that is similar to Apollo where I am developing the Front end for the system using React.js/Vite.js.

For this internship I was working part-time while finishing up my bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at RIT. In this role I was talking to the clients to extract requirements and feedback on iterative work I was doing which was working on the Front end for a CRM system like Apollo using React.js/Vite.js. I also used Next.js for static site generation for a couple of restaurant websites for various restaurants in the New Jersey area.

Worked on a team of three to develop a product concept statement with a prototype to present in front of the CEO. The task was to develop a product concept for an IOT application using the decentralized Helium network and Rust.The product concept was a security system for commercial property owners and/or managers. The idea was to have a bay station connect to sensors through radio frequency all being run on the Helium network. The incentive for this was to passively earn money back on the initial investment. For example, every time there was foot traffic through the building, there will be some amount of Helium tokens being earned.The team developed a webapp that will connect to the security system and grab useful information to analyze and display on the webapp for the Property Manager or Owner to see as well as being able to see transactions and work orders just like a property management webapp. These features were inspired by Customer Discovery interviews with Property Managers and Owners, and their needs or pain points on having everything in one place in a cost effective way.
