Leader of a team of software engineers focused on the development of an embedded software election solution on C++ running on Linux being used by more than 60 million voters all over the world. My job involves making decisions about architecture design, requirement priority and specification, enforcing best practices and conventions, and providing assistance and mentoring to fellow software engineers. My role allows me to lead projects while remaining hands-on, contributing directly to the codebase as a full-stack software engineer.

• Designed and developed software components for a suite of high availability critical systems that monitor the supply chain for a leading company in secure logistics and cash management. The system allowed the synchronization of data from a from more than 70 branch offices around Venezuela, that were previously synchronized by paper receipts.• Improved the efficiency (a 10x improvement) in the data processing done by critical operations and supply chain systems in Excelsior Gamma, a major supermarket chain.• Introduced software design and development practices, and also software development cost evaluation for Banco Occidental del Descuento (BOD), that allowed the organization to evaluate, estimate and develop internal software products in a less bureaucratic, efficient and agile way.• Designed and developed software components for a near real-time order processing system for Avon, that integrated all the information from different systems part of the supply chain in a dashboard that shows the current metrics of the state of the orders fulfilling process.

• Provided architecture and development leadership for a generic batch processing engine for data exchange between legacy and new systems, to provide abstract data transforming logic. This system provided a middleware layer and common interface between separated systems. Designed for high availability, and highly configurability of the data contracts between systems.• Introduced the use of reusable software components through the design and development of a software framework (Aire) for .NET web and desktop applications, providing reusable components for data handling, design by contract support, design pattern standardization, logging and promote the good coding practices. • Improved the deployment efficiency for the Banesco development teams, by developing a tool capable of installing in remote servers (production, testing and development environments) .NET web applications hosted in IIS, COM+ components, and code libraries in GAC in an automated way.• Developed software components for a payroll and supplier payment services portal (Pago Electrónico) offered by Banesco. This system had integration with core systems of the bank, and at the moment had around a volume of 14 million transactions a month.
