Executive leader for risk teams (UW, Analytics, Loss Control, Premium Audit) and underwriting strategy as well as service and operations team for ~$500MM division of Markel Specialty focused nationally on: specialty segments (human services, schools, sports and fitness, medical transportation, financial professionals, youth recreation and more), small business workers compensation, BOP and Miscellaneous Professional. Delivered historically strong workers compensation results in each of the six years from 2013-2018, delivering sub 90 combined ratios each year during this time and underwriting profits in all years since assuming leadership for in 2011. During the same time period premiums grew ~35%.
