Chad Eades is a Sr. Security Administrator. Colleagues describe them as "Within the last year or so, I have been involved in several projects that have given me an opportunity to work closer with Chad. Over that time, I have gotten a chance to know him better both professionally and personally. I have learned that Chad is not only an extremely intelligent, effective, and one of the hardest working engineers in IT, but is also one of the most honest and entertaining colleagues you can work with. An example of his effectiveness can be seen within his performance during the initial stages of the Windows 11 project. This project had MANY moving parts and complexities. One huge one was the addition of a feature named "Credential Guard" in Windows 11. Unfortunately, we discovered that Credential Guard broke 802.1x network authentication, as well as UE. Chad, faced with the difficult situation of how to overcome this roadblock, effectively worked with both Security and the Development team to come up with a temporary workaround solution, as well as long-term plan for addressing these challenges. Oh, and he also was acting as the de facto project manager during this whole time? WHAT?! Beyond his effectiveness in difficult situations, Chad is a great colleague to just get to know better. He has a great sense of humor, and is always willing to let you vent to him about anything that may be on your mind. He is always empathetic to your situation, and does a great job of finding humor in even the most difficult and demanding situations. Chad is one of those people that everyone should get to know a little bit better, because they will not be disappointed! With that said, I am glad I have gotten the chance to know Chad better. It's an objective fact that his hard-work, dedication, and overall style he approaches his role deserve a moment of recognition!" and "Chad is super technically skilled with a versatile IT background, but his ability to create a both welcoming and efficient project environment is what really makes him stand out in this field.
