• Knowledgeable in all aspects of the business servicing multiple financial clients. CV Systems offered different systems for financial clients so they could handle all banking functions without having to outsource to a 3rd party.• Successfully analyzed impact and accurately estimated time required to complete projects.• Provided documentation of both legacy systems and new systems to be utilized for training.• Implemented new mandates (VISA, MC, DIEBOLD, NCR etc…) on each client site as needed.• Designed, coded, tested and successfully installed new ICSF encryption software on 3 different client sites that would interact with ATM machines. Clients used Diebold, NCR or a mixture of both to run their ATMs. • Coded, tested and installed new Fraud System that was used to reduce fraudulent activity on several different client sites.• Coded, tested and installed new Card Management System. The Card Management System handled all credit card services.• Coded, tested and installed new ATM Manager System. The ATM Manager System allowed customers to track ATMs and how much money was being used in each ATM to help accurately forecast machines.• Installed new Teller System. Teller Systems was used to communicate branch activities to the host for processing.• Provided 24 hour on-call support for 1 week, every 3 weeks. • Studied Microsoft SQL server and Visual Studio to broaden the company’s product base.• During my time at CV Systems I worked with COBOL in a CICS and Batch environment on different mainframes using MVS TSO/ISPF. With opportunities in Assembler, Easytreive and VB. VSAM was main source of data with a chance to use some Transact SQL using Microsoft SQL in Microsoft Studio. JCL, CICS, COBOL, VSAM, TCP/IP, MQseries, Changeman, File aid, Expeditor, Intertest, ICSF and MS products were used almost daily.

• Primarily worked on the authorizations group but offered help in all other aspects of the business.• Worked a conversion to bring Diners system onto the Bankcards system.• Converted Diners ATM PIN’s from single to triple DES encryption.-Project lead for the PIN conversion. Responsible for a team of 5 developers. Wrote the requirements and design. Completed 50% of the code. Completed all unit and UAT testing and was responsible for implementation and post implementation. The project was split into 3 phases stretching over 6 months.• Worked on a conversion to bring a large portion of VSAM data onto DB2 tables.-This project built a new authorizations system for Diners Club. Wrote the largest and most complex piece of the system. The Stored Procedure was over 6,000 lines and read over 20 different DB2 tables. The program ran for every Diners authorization for a total of 10,000+ times a day.• Helped to design new systems for new products.• Responsible for developing new Batch, CICS, DB2 and Stored Procedures for Diners.-Initially hired with no previous knowledge of CICS, DB2 or ADABASE and my first assignment was a CICS program with 3 different maps that read 4 VSAM files, 3 DB2 tables and 2 ADABASE tables. Quickly learned what was needed to code the program and have it ready for implementation in half the time given to complete it.• Worked production problems as they came up; as well as being on call when needed.-Primary on call contact for systems that were implemented.• Took projects completely though the project life cycle.-Wrote requirements.-Wrote design documents. -Wrote Batch/CICS COBOL Programs.-Unit and UAT tested programs individually written; as well as programs other developers wrote.-Implemented projects.-Follow through to post implementation.
