After obtaining my A.A.S. degree in Culinary Arts, I soon found opportunities available to myself that lead me away from the cooking industry and into my other passion that is Business. Starting in the customer service position within Medtronic, I soon developed a passion for the medical industry and helping people. Being in the position for almost 5 years has helped me understand the unique aspects of the medical device industry and its markets. Throughout my time in Customer Service, I have been trusted with many responsibilities including training activities, quality monitoring, and involvement on specialized teams. During this time, I also decided to further my education by attending Colorado State Global Campus to pursue my Bachelors degree in Business Management. After making the most of these opportunities, I decided to pursue a position that will further elevate my knowledge of the company and medical device industry. In my current position as a Quality Assurance Specialist within Customer Finance, I am responsible for assisting our Contracts, Finance, and Collections divisions to gather customer invoicing and credit data for these groups, while overseeing my own regional workload. I continue to become fascinated with the different aspects of large corporations and would like to continue my ongoing knowledge of business and the medical device industry.
