Cushman & Wakefield is a leading global real estate services firm. In this role, I led a team of development consultants supporting new store development for Chick-fil-A in the NE and SE Regions. I was also involved with managing civil engineers, architects, geotechnical, and environmental partners through the due diligence and entitlement/permitting phases of development in multiple regions (Atlantic & Southeast) and Canada. Other responsibilities include managing schedules to meet target construction starts, reviewing preliminary site costs and providing value engineering solutions, preparing budgets for special projects, negotiating with landlords to ensure contractual obligations are met, and representing the client at city meetings.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: • Transitioned over 65+ new stores to construction• Improved construction start accuracy from 7% to 60% by improving internal processes and implementing best practices in ATL Region.• Designed a project management schedule toolkit adopted by C&W to better service clients and manage workflows• Instituted policy for verifying landlord work adopted by Chick-fil-A in the ATL and SE Regions• Reduced average development timelines by 2 months from lease execution to site mobilization.

The City of O’Fallon has achieved phenomenal growth for nearly two decades due to its “family first” philosophy and planning priorities to making living, work, and play available within the community. As an economic development coordinator, my primary role involved guiding new and existing businesses, civil engineers, architects, brokers, and developers through the City’s approval processes, (plan reviews, permitting, inspection, and occupancy). Other responsibilities included promoting business growth through retention and attraction programs, recommending policies to improve the business climate, responding to special project requests, and identifying suitable properties for commercial real estate brokers, developers, and business owners. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: • Administered a program to help startup businesses locate and occupy space (33 inspections in 2015, 73% success rate)• Re-established business license compliance through the adoption and implementation of an interdepartmental policy reducing noncompliance from 225 to six businesses• Assisted key business expansion and attraction efforts (Missouri Rush Soccer Park, O’Fallon Casting Expansion) and revitalization of several shopping centers, which attracted key retail anchors (Fresh Thyme & Hobby Lobby)

As a city planner, I oversaw land development for the second largest municipality in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. My primary responsibilities included reviewing and providing recommendations on subdivision plats, site plans, zoning requests, and conditional use permits to the Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment. Additional responsibilities included reviewing and approving construction site plans, sign permits, business licenses, and other administrative permits and serving as city liaison to the O’Fallon Green Committee.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: • Authored one of the first renewable energy ordinances for the region that provided contractors with clear direction regarding installation of solar energy systems• Led business outreach explaining new city ordinances and signage

As a community development specialist, I served as the city liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustment, and Joplin Metropolitan Planning Organization. I also reviewed and provided recommendations on zoning, conditional use permits, variances, and subdivision plats to City Council and other legislative bodies and prepared financial reports and budgets on FHWA projects receiving federal funds.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: • Reviewed development agreements and drafted contracts for $8M of historic rehabilitation projects using local CDBG funds and Chapter 353 tax abatement• Prepared grant applications, obtained $676K in federal transportation enhancement grants, and served as project manager on two projects
