Supporting the Transportation Management vertical as a pooled engineering resource. Works with internal operations teams in a business intelligence and analytics role supporting the development and adoption of Standard Operating Practice within the organization. Current role includes developing metrics, reporting, dashboards, continuous improvement initiatives and process improvement.

• Responsible for 13 Dana plants with a yearly spend of $16.3M – in conjunction with Dana and Menlo goals to improve logistics activities and reduce overall transportation costs. • Continuously develop cost savings for Dana Corporation – currently at $1.7M for 2012 in savings initiatives with an implementation rate of 85%.• Perform engineering tasks including, but not limited to: LTL studies for the Dana network and individual plants; standard route baseline development and implementation; rate quotes; ad hoc engineering requests.• Conduct lean activities including ongoing training, VSM sessions, developing and maintaining A3 documents. As required support to achieve platinum lean status for Dana account.

• Responsibilities include: account reconciliation, invoice creation and distribution, database maintenance, developing and maintaining customer and carrier relationships. • Following defined processes, repeatable analysis and tasks driving continuous cost and service improvement by recommending and implementing stated improvements.

• Responsibilities include: heavy logistical analysis, equipment utilization analysis, data entry, supply chain mapping, team participation events, as well as building and delivering presentations outlining project progression.
